Service Terms & Policies
These terms explain how Poo Pirates residential pet waste removal works, what we need from customers, and how we handle access, safety, scheduling, billing, weather, and cancellations.

Service Scope
Poo Pirates will make a reasonable effort to remove visible dog waste from reasonably accessible areas of the serviced yard during each scheduled visit. Collected waste is bagged and hauled away.
Service days and arrival times may vary because of route scheduling, traffic, holidays, weather, and other operating conditions. An exact arrival time is not guaranteed.
Yard Access
The client is responsible for providing safe and reliable access to the service area on the scheduled service day. Gates must be unlocked, gate codes must be current, and entrances must be free of obstructions. Access changes should be reported before the scheduled visit.
If Poo Pirates cannot enter because of a locked gate, incorrect access information, an obstruction, an unsafe condition, or another issue outside our control, the scheduled visit fee remains due because route time was reserved.
Pets and Safety
The client must provide accurate information about the dogs using the yard and promptly report any change in dog count. Dogs that are aggressive, territorial, unpredictable, or uncomfortable with service providers must remain indoors or otherwise be safely secured during service.
Poo Pirates may delay, skip, or discontinue a visit when a pet, person, animal, property condition, or environmental condition presents a reasonable safety concern. The scheduled visit fee may remain due when the yard was not made safe or accessible.
Yard Conditions and Quote Changes
The client is responsible for keeping the yard reasonably accessible and visible. Tall grass, heavy leaves, standing water, debris, landscaping, toys, equipment, or other obstructions may keep waste from being located or safely reached. Poo Pirates is not responsible for waste that cannot reasonably be found because of those conditions.
Large yards, heavy accumulation, an increased number of dogs, or conditions that materially differ from the information provided during signup may require additional time, an additional charge, or an updated quote. When practical, we will contact the client before completing work outside the agreed service scope.
Weather and Service Delays
Rain, lightning, flooding, tropical weather, excessive heat, unsafe roads, or other conditions may make a scheduled visit hazardous or impractical. Poo Pirates may delay, reschedule, or adjust the route and will service the yard as soon as reasonably practical once conditions allow. An exact makeup date or time cannot be guaranteed.
Service Pauses
If the client’s dogs will not be using the yard because of travel, boarding, illness, or another reason, the client should request a pause in advance. Visits already scheduled, routed, or billed may remain chargeable when sufficient notice is not provided before the service date.
Billing and Payment
Recurring service is billed monthly to the payment method kept on file through the client portal. By beginning service, the client authorizes Poo Pirates and its payment processor to charge the payment method on file for recurring service and other agreed charges.
Agreed charges may include:
- Recurring service and approved add-ons
- One-time cleanups
- Additional work approved by the client
- Scheduled visits that cannot be completed because the yard is inaccessible or unsafe
The client is responsible for keeping payment information current. Past-due accounts may be paused or terminated until the balance is paid. Any unpaid balance remaining after service ends is due within 15 days.
Pricing and Promotions
Pricing is based on service frequency, number of dogs, yard size, yard condition, and service requirements. Promotions may have separate eligibility requirements, including yard-condition and service-frequency requirements.
Prices, fees, and promotions may change. Existing recurring clients will receive at least 14 days’ notice before a pricing change takes effect. Promotions may be modified or discontinued unless a specific offer states otherwise.
Cancellation and Termination
Poo Pirates does not require a long-term contract. Either the client or Poo Pirates may cancel recurring service at any time by written notice through email, text message, or the client portal.
Charges for completed services, access-related missed visits, approved additional work, and other outstanding balances remain due after cancellation.
Property Conditions and Responsibility
The client must disclose known hazards or property conditions that could affect safe service, including:
- Damaged gates, fences, or latches
- Holes, unstable ground, or standing water
- Irrigation equipment or exposed wiring
- Sharp objects, construction materials, or unsafe debris
- Aggressive animals or other known safety concerns
Poo Pirates is not responsible for pre-existing damage, defective gates or fencing, ordinary wear, hidden hazards, damage caused by animals, or conditions outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude responsibility that cannot legally be limited or waived.
Service Communications and Photos
The client authorizes Poo Pirates to send service-related calls, emails, and text messages, including arrival notices, schedule updates, billing notices, and completion confirmations.
Poo Pirates may take limited photos of a gate, service area, or property condition for access confirmation, service verification, safety documentation, or internal records. Service-verification photos will not be used publicly for advertising without separate permission from the client.
Acceptance of Terms
By signing up for service, electronically accepting these terms, authorizing recurring billing, or allowing service to begin, the client confirms that they have read and agreed to these Service Terms and Policies.
